My Head is Throbbing..I'll Tell you Why
Firstly..what have I been up to?
I have been upskilling myself. If you are a serious trader you better keep learning and that's what I've been doing. Have you heard of CFD's? Well if you haven't I'm surprised you are making much money trading stocks or anything.
CFD's give you a 1:10 leverage. Instead of buying shares you buy CFD shares..contracts for difference. They are very popular except in the USA where they are illegal..but wait there's more..
The USA is fighting back..to keep their option trading levels high they are introducing "Portfolio Margining". This is very new to people with only $100K, but old news to people with millions in their trading account.
The result of this change...MORE VOLATILITY..hang on to your hats!!!!
If you do not have a reliable, money making system to trade..I don't care whether you want to trade stocks or futures...you are going to get creamed in the market.
How do I know? People are going to be able to buy $100K of stock with a 5% outlay in insurance. As long as they have insurance in place they will be able to set up a perpetual money machine. What happens to the price of stocks? Ever been on a rollercoaster ride??
If you think the best you can do is buy and hold God Help You!
